Generators kept the lights on at the school shortly after the power turned off.

17ds agoA power outage affected Adelphi University's main campus on Friday evening.
The school says a transformer blew around 6 p.m. in the Garden City area. PSEG then came in and turned off power to the campus.
Generators kept the lights on at the university.
There is no word on what caused the transformer to blow.
