A birthday celebration was held Thursday to remember the Oceanside High School student who was stabbed to death last month during an after-school fight.

A birthday celebration was held Thursday to remember the Oceanside High School student who was stabbed to death last month during an after-school fight.
Khaseen Morris would have turned 17 years old on Oct. 24.
Students at Oceanside High School, as well as Morris' family and friends, wore purple to remember him. Purple was his favorite color, according to his family.
The Morris family also tells News 12 they released 17 balloons Thursday night near his favorite restaurant, Ciao Baby, in Massapequa.
Eight teens have been indicted in connection with Morris' murder.
