Police are investigating a crash that killed a bicyclist in North Amityville last night.

Police say Patrick Green, 61, of North Amityville, was struck while traveling on northbound Route 110 last night.

Green was transported to the hospital, but later died.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was uninjured.

The investigation is continuing, and detectives are looking for additional vehicles that may have also been involved in a secondary crash involving the bicyclist.

Tomorrow morning, temperatures start out in the twenties and we're going to stay cold Wednesday afternoon. This afternoon temperatures will be in the thirties to around 40 degrees. The threat of a few flurries or a passing snow shower. Wind chills are in the twenties, wind chills. That's what you dress for tomorrow morning. Wind chills are in the teens and we're going to be looking at air temperatures in the twenties and you can see rain warmer weather by Friday, some showers, Sunday, Monday, but bundle up, watch out for a few floors this afternoon and cold weather into tomorrow morning.
