All eyes are on the sky this weekend as the Bethpage Air Show soars above Jones Beach.
The festivities kicked off Saturday and will continue on Sunday. More than 150,000 people are expected to attend over the course of the weekend.
The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds are headlining the annual event. The Geico Skytypers and the U.S. Army's Golden Knights Parachute Team are also performing.
Park officials say there are extra police officers, surveillance cameras and more screeners at different locations to bolster security.
The fun continues on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
