A Bay Shore man was sentenced Tuesday to over 20 years in prison for sexually abusing his niece.

The abuse happened in the home they both lived in for three years and started when the victim was 4 years old.

The niece told someone about the abuse after they moved out of the house.

The uncle's name is not being released to protect the child.
