A family court judge temporarily suspended Alec Baldwin's right to visit his 11-year-old daughter after a voicemail tirade by the actor.
Baldwin, who lives in Amagansett, is in the middle of a messy custody battle with ex-wife Kim Basinger. He reportedly was angry with his daughter for not keeping a scheduled phone call with him. That apparent missed call led to the message.
"I'm gonna straighten your [expletive] out when I see you! Do you understand me?" Baldwin said. "You don't have the brains or the decency as a human being. I don't care that you're 12 years old or 11 years old or that you're a child. Or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the [expletive]."
Baldwin has released an apology for the rant on his Web site. Baldwin's spokesperson has also accused Basinger of violating a court order by releasing the voicemail to the public. There's no word on when Baldwin might re-gain permission to visit with his daughter.
