Residents of Babylon Village say they are thrilled with the addition a new four-way stop sign.
The intersection of Livingston and Park avenues now has a stop sign in all directions after pressure from residents and a story by News 12.
Residents say the intersection has been notorious for accidents.They are hoping it will slow down traffic and reduce the number of accidents.
"When it first came up, I saw a few cars go through it because they're not used to it, but now I see for a couple days people are stopping on Livingston and Park Avenue and following the rules of the road, and it slowing down traffic,” says Thomas Bruckner, of Babylon.
Residents believe more traffic was being routed onto Park Avenue by smartphone navigation apps like Waze.
