Authorities say the search for a body in Oakdale has concluded, with no remains found.

The Broward County Sheriff's Office in Florida says a lieutenant is on Long Island and was searching for the remains of Lori Hatzakorizian.

Hatzakorizian disappeared near her Mastic home in 2007. Her head was found in the Everglades shortly after but the rest of her body was never recovered.

The man who is serving 30 years for her murder told authorities her remains were in Oakdale. Police say they were searching in the area using a map he gave them.
