There will not be a traditional funeral service for Blue Point native Brian Laundrie, according to the Laundrie family attorney.
The family attorney tells News 12 that after an inconclusive autopsy, Laundrie’s remains are being sent to an anthropologist for further evaluation.
After that, the remains are set to be cremated.
The partial human remains were discovered at a Florida nature reserve last week and dental records confirmed they belonged to Laundrie the following day.
He was the only person of interest in the murder of his fiancé Gabby Petito.
