Before becoming the senior vice president for Northwell Health’s anesthesia line, Dr. Joseph Marino enlisted in the U.S. Army.

Marino says being a member of the Army is one of the facets of his life that he is most proud of. He was trained to be an anesthesiologist during his time of the time in the armed services.

During the height of the pandemic, Marino also served as the medical director of Long Island Jewish – Valley Stream.
