The “Turkey Shoot” is a yearly tradition in Oceanside.

Students pair up with Oceanside Community Service to collect Thanksgiving food items, including turkeys, and deliver them to homes in Oceanside and the surrounding communities.

It's is a collaborative effort.

Along with Oceanside students and Oceanside Community Service members, community members, PTA members and teachers lend a hand.

This year, thousands of pounds of food were collected and delivered to local homes.
