Ambulance dedication to be held for Valley Stream firefighter killed in line of duty

A volunteer firefighter from Valley Stream is being honored today nearly a year after his death.

A volunteer firefighter from Valley Stream is being honored today nearly a year after his death.
Chief Michael Field died due to injuries sustained while on duty.
As News 12 has reported, signs over the Southern State were unveiled for Field in October.
Today, there will be an ambulance dedication in his name.
The event will take place around 10 a.m. at the Valley Street Volunteer Fire Department headquarters on Rockaway Parkway.
