Activists, actors and reality TV stars rode from Manhattan to the Roosevelt Field Mall Thursday for the seventh annual Kiehl's National Liferide for amfAR, which raises awareness and money for AIDS research.
The ride was one of several happening across the Northeast.
"The motorcycles allow us to really make that noise, and get AIDS and HIV back in the press, which is so important right now," says CEO Kevin Robert Frost.
The event has raised more than $1.6 million since it began in 2010.
