? Police say a drunken driver struck a Suffolk County police officer who was sitting in his patrol car early Thursday morning.
Officer Michael Ochoa was struck as he sat in his cruiser on the shoulder of Union Avenue in Holbrook just after midnight. Police say the driver of the other vehicle, 28-year-old Kimberly Fitzgerald, rear-ended the police car and injured Ochoa. She is accused of driving drunk.
Ochoa was treated at St. Charles Hospital and released.
