AAA: Taking multiple medications increases crash risk for seniors

According to AAA, medication may be affecting the driving of those older than 65 years.
New research shows nearly 20 percent of older drivers use medications that the American Geriatrics Society says should be avoided when behind the wheel.
Some of the medications are known to cause impairing effects that could increase the risk of a crash by up to 300 percent.
AAA recommends talking to your doctor about your prescriptions and driving.
