After some overnight rain, it will be dry for the rest of today. If you have not been liking the cooler weather, you may enjoy the temperatures today and tomorrow a bit more with highs around 80 degrees and more humidity.
You may notice the sky turns a bit hazy this evening and tomorrow morning. That is from wildfire smoke across western Canada and the west coast of the U.S., but air quality is not anticipated to be impacted at this time.
Plan on some scattered rain developing tomorrow afternoon, mainly in Nassau County. If you want the best chance for a completely dry Saturday, head to central and eastern Suffolk County!
The one change in the forecast from yesterday is that it looks like showers will linger through Sunday morning before drier weather returns slowly, but surely in the afternoon.
Have a great Friday and weekend!
