309ds agoA Manhasset IHOP hostess unknowingly wait-listed a famous Hollywood actor.
A TikTok video of Adam Sandler inside the IHOP on Northern Boulevard talking to the hostess Dayanna Rodas has gone viral.
Rodas says she didn't recognize the actor and told him that the wait for a table was 30 minutes, so he left.
"Everyone is asking me how I didn't recognize him," says Rodas. "He had a big beard. I've never seen Adam Sandler with a beard and the mask didn't help."
After realizing what happened, Rodas posted the moment to TikTok.
"I didn't know it was going to go viral," says Rodas.
The video, which was captioned 'please come back,' has been viewed more than 2.2 million times.
The Hollywood star know for roles in "Happy Gilmore" and "50 First Dates" apparently didn't use his clout and just acknowledged the situation and left.
Sandler's Twitter was quiet, and he has not commented about his new viral trip to IHOP.
