A 92-year-old Bethpage woman was fatally struck by an SUV in Farmingdale.
The incident happened in the parking lot of a physical therapy center on Main Street.
Police say the SUV driver was backing out of a parking space around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Lorraine Richter was rushed to a hospital but didn't survive.
