Eight people were arrested at a sobriety checkpoint over the weekend in Patchogue, according to Suffolk police.
Authorities say a total of 338 vehicles passed through the checkpoint between 11 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday.
Seven individuals were charged with DWI and one was charged with DWAI.
