Five teens were injured Friday in a Great Neck car accident, in which police say the driver was too young to be behind the wheel.
Officials say the accident happened around 3 a.m. Friday on Middle Neck Road in front of St. Aloishus Church. According to police, a 15-year-old from Queens took his father's car for a joyride.Police say the teens were taken to North Shore University Hospital and Winthrop Hospital. According to officials, two girls in the car were ejected and suffered severe head trauma and other injuries. The driver and two other male passengers may have head injuries.Officials say the teen is being charged with reckless assault and reckless endangerment.
