A 42-year-old man was fatally struck by a car while crossing a street Saturday in Island Park.
Detectives say it happened just before 9 p.m. at the intersection of Austin and Saratoga boulevards.
The victim was hospitalized and then pronounced dead.
Police say the 27-year-old driver remained at the scene. No arrests were made.
