Prosecutors say four people have been indicted in connection with a robbery and murder in Freeport.
As News 12 has reported, James Diamond was shot and robbed of the $55,000 he received in a lawsuit settlement last September.
Prosecutors say Cory Greer, Eric Baldwin, Todd Brant and a fourth man, who is still on the loose, robbed Diamond at gunpoint on South Bay Avenue. They say the Long Beach man was shot in the stomach during the struggle.
Officials say Baldwin's girlfriend drove the getaway car and ultimately sold the vehicle after the shooting.
All four are facing a variety of charges, ranging from murder to tampering with evidence.
