(10/15/07) MINEOLA ? Nassau District Attorney Kathleen Rice is set to announce the results of a 16-month investigation into allegations of corruption within the building department of the Town of North Hempstead.
Four individuals were arrested Monday morning:
David Wasserman, 48, of Roslyn Heights (Former Building Commissioner) Thomas McDonough, 48, of Port Washington (Building Inspector) Joseph Madden, 38, of Philadelphia, PA (Former Deputy Building Commissioner) Andrew Acierno, 43, of Westbury (Former Plans Examiner)
Details of the investigation and arrests will be released later Monday.
