A 3-year-old Coram boy is recovering after he fell out of a second-story window at the Gaslight Motel in Medford Wednesday.

Police say the window was open because the room was too hot. According to police, the child fell off a chair and right through the window screen. He suffered some cuts and bruises, but is expected to be okay.

The boy and his mother were visiting their family at the time of the accident.
