Police say three families are homeless after a fire destroyed their Bay Shore home.  The flames gutted a ranch on Gunther Avenue just after 10 p.m. last night.  Police say one resident was rushed

Police say three families are homeless after a fire destroyed their Bay Shore home. 
The flames gutted a ranch on Gunther Avenue just after 10 p.m. last night. 
Police say one resident was rushed to the hospital with smoke inhalation. 
At least nine other residents were placed in emergency housing. 
Police are searching for what caused the fire.
