An early morning house fire in Bellmore has left two adults and their five pets without a home on Thursday.
It happened in a two-story house on Wynne Lane around 3:30 a.m.

"Me and my wife were fast asleep and we heard glass breaking, pounding on the door and 'gotta get out of the house, the house is on fire,' we were up in the bedroom. We didn't smell anything, we didn't see anything, there were no flames inside the house," said Joe Sanfilippo.
About 60 firefighters went to battle the blaze, which lasted for about 20 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
