A man's body was recovered in a marsh east of Tiana Beach in Southampton.
Southampton Town police say they got the call at around 2:45 p.m. on Sunday for a body located near the beach. The remains were recovered in a bay-side marsh east of the beach.
Police say they have identified the man but are withholding the identity until they notify his next of kin.
The death appears to be non-criminal in nature, and the medical examiner is completing an examination to determine the cause of death, according to police.
