A Brooklyn man has been arrested after assaulting another man in Manorhaven.
Nassau police say Fared Fahd Ahmed Alsumairi, 25, was involved in a verbal argument with a 66-year-old man in a parking lot at 152 Shore Rd.
The argument escalated and Alsumairi, who was sitting in his vehicle, punched the victim through the vehicle's open window, knocking him to the ground, according to authorities.
Police say that Alsumairi ran over the victim's legs as he was driving away. He was located and placed under arrest without further incident.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital and is in stable condition, according to police.
Alsumairi is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned today at the First District Court in Hempstead.
