NYPD officers talk woman out of jumping off of Brooklyn high-rise

Officers in Brooklyn responded to a 911 call on May 7 for a woman in distress. They arrived and found her just as she was about to jump off the ledge of a high-rise building.

NYPD bodycam footage shows heroism and heart from New York's finest.

Officers in Brooklyn responded to a 911 call on May 7 around 1:15 p.m. for a 41-year-old woman in distress, just as she was about to jump off the ledge of a high-rise building.

In the video, you can hear that officer saying, "I'm here with you, we're going to get through this together."

ESU responded and removed the female from the ledge without incident & EMS then transported her to a local area hospital.
