Saddle Brook man charged with possession of child sexual abuse material in Bergen County investigation
A search of an electronic device allegedly found that Cielemecki viewed, saved, downloaded and possessed files depicting nude or sexually explicit children.
A 39-year-old Saddle Brook man has been charged with possession of child sexual abuse material following a months-long investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, authorities said Monday.
Prosecutors said the investigation began in January 2026, when law enforcement identified Jakub Cielemecki during an ongoing internet child pornography investigation. A search of an electronic device allegedly found that Cielemecki viewed, saved, downloaded and possessed files depicting nude or sexually explicit children.
Cielemecki was arrested April 16 in Paramus and charged with possession of child pornography, according to the prosecutor’s office.
Authorities said he was remanded to the Bergen County Jail, appeared in Bergen County Superior Court and was later released pending further court action.
