Two people were arrested in connection with a deadly shooting in Spring Valley.

The shooting happened in September on Dutch Lane. A 20-year-old man was killed.

Spring Valley Police arrested Ramapo resident Doodly Metellus, 21, and Spring Valley resident Smay Dornaison, 20, on Thursday.

Police say when they arrested Metellus, officers recovered a loaded firearm in his possession.

The two face charges of murder in the second degree.

They both were arraigned on Friday and were remanded to the Rockland County Jail.
