For the second time in six months, state parole officer Wendy Vereen has failed to properly store her firearm.

Milford Police say that Vereen left a gun within a fitting room at the Connecticut Post Mall.

Vereen was previously charged by Stamford Police in November for improperly storing her firearm in a car, which was deemed a misdemeanor.

The Department of Corrections say that Vereen was placed on administrative leave following her first incident.
