East Islip community hosts vigil for driver of garbage truck killed in accident
His vigil was held at the site of the crash on the Sunrise Highway Service Road near the Southern State Parkway exit.

Family and friends gathered in East Islip on Sunday to remember the life of Xavier Angulo Espionza who was killed on Nov. 6 when his garbage truck overturned and burst into flames.
His vigil was held at the site of the crash on the Sunrise Highway Service Road near the Southern State Parkway exit.
Attendees told News 12 that Espionza was a friend, husband and loving father and that he will be dearly missed.
Espionza was 45-year-old.
