A beloved Long Island restaurant is closing its doors after more than four decades.

After 41 years in business, La Parma in Williston Park will serve its final meals on July 27.

According to the eatery’s website, the owners said they are selling the building.

“A recent offer from a new investor to purchase our cherished Williston Park location was one we could not pass up,” the farewell post says.

Reactions flooded in with gratitude and sadness for the final days of La Parma. It was a “bittersweet” moment for the restaurant owners.

"Over the years, we saw generations and generations come here. People bringing their kids when they were one, two, three years old. Now they're bringing their children,” says co-owner Anthony Gralto. “It’s a great feeling. It makes us feel very, very old. It's a good thing though."

La Parma’s owners say their other locations in Huntington and Oceanside will remain open.

“You welcomed us into your lives and made this journey one filled with meaning, joy, and love,” the La Parma website post says. “It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve you.”
