Nassau police arrested a man who they say is responsible for leaving graffiti on various buildings across the county, and they believe he may be responsible for more.

"Nobody wants that on their building, on their home, on their property or anything like that," Franklin Square resident Dana Liuzzo said.

Investigators said they saw Treston Isaacs Jr., 28, wearing a face mask and spray-painting a storage container at 550 Franklin Ave. in Franklin Square around 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Police arrested Isaacs and charged him with third-degree criminal mischief, possession of graffiti instruments, making graffiti and violating Nassau County's Mask Transparency Act.

"You pay taxes, you live in a nice neighborhood, and you don't want to drive around and see all of that happening, you know, in your neighborhood," Franklin Square resident Monica Tufano said.

Authorities said they matched the graffiti in Franklin Square to other locations in Nassau County, including in Valley Stream and Elmont. They said Isaacs left the same "507 OMM" and "516 OMM" in those places, too.

Police believe Isaacs may be responsible for more graffiti throughout the county. They're asking anyone with information regarding additional locations to anonymously contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911.

Isaacs was released on an appearance ticket and is due back in First District Court in Hempstead on Thursday, March 27.
