A Queens man has been arrested for pulling a knife on officers while they tried to arrest him, according to police.
Police say Alexis Aleman, 29, got into an argument with his family members on Sunday in Mineola.
911 was called and when officers got there, they say Aleman ran away while pulling out a knife.
Two of the officers were injured. One officer sustained a laceration to their hand and another officer sustained an injury to his hand, shoulder and knees during the course of the arrest and were transported to a nearby hospital.
Aleman is facing multiple charges.
