Nearly a dozen catalytic converters were stolen from cars across Nassau County recently, police say.
Police say the thefts happened between Sept. 9 and Sept. 17.
The alleged thefts spanned from Floral Park to the North Massapequa-Massapequa Park area where three of the expensive car parts were taken in just hours.
