Nassau County police have identified the victim in a homicide case that occurred early Monday morning in Uniondale.

Police say they responded to a 911 call near the strip mall at 979 Nassau Rd. Upon arrival, officers found Tadeo Alvarado-Chavez, of Roosevelt.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene by a Nassau County Police Medic. His cause of death remains unclear.
