A viewing for family and friends was held on Tuesday for the late Rep. Bill Pascrell who passed away last week.

The viewing took place at The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Paterson.

Gov. Phil Murphy directed all flags to be flown at half-staff on Tuesday and Wednesday honoring Pascrell’s life and service. He served in Congress for nearly 30 years.

A funeral Mass is set for Wednesday morning.

Pascrell was 87 years old.
