Officials say two men are safe after being rescued from the waters off Jones Beach.

Police tell News 12 two men started kayaking out of Jones Beach field 10 and decided to turn around in the Great Island Channel.

The winds and currents were too much, so they called 911.

Officers were able to find the men and bring them back safely.

No one was hurt.
