Oyster Bay residents split over plans for car wash on Pine Hollow Road

A public hearing Tuesday over an application to build a new car wash on Pine Hollow Road had Oyster Bay residents split right down the middle.
Half of the speakers at town hall were in favor of what would be the only car wash in town, citing the need for economic investment. The other half voiced their opposition, leaning heavily on traffic concerns, especially when it comes to making turns on the busy road.

The public has 60 days to comment before the town makes its decision.
