A Mastic Beach teen is facing charges this morning after a robbery in Riverhead.

Police report the incident occurred last night at the intersection of Cedar Avenue and Railroad Avenue.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a man who had been knocked unconscious and robbed of his backpack by 19-year-old Juan Francisco Uri-Zar Zamora.

Police swiftly located and arrested him shortly after the incident.
