The Long Island Fight for Charity announced on Monday the volunteer boxers who will compete in the 19th annual event.

Nine out of the 11 boxers are business leaders from Long Island. Participants work in real estate, marketing, tech and hospitality.

They will train for six months before the event in November.

Fight for Charity raises money for Long Islanders struggling to make car, mortgage or credit card payments.

Some volunteers say they signed up because they know what it’s like to need help.

Organizers tell News 12 that it’s the nation’s only all-volunteer charity boxing event.

Fight for Charity has raised nearly $2 million for nonprofits since 2003.
