A worker was injured when a gas tank ignited at a recycling plant in Deer Park, police say.
They say the man was working on metal at a facility on Long Island Avenue when it happened at around 11 a.m.
Police say the man was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening
