It's try-out season for the Long Island Nets dance team.

Auditions began Sunday at the Yes We Can Center in Westbury.

Hundreds of hopeful young stars showed off their best moves, hoping to score a spot on the team.

The team performs during select Nets home games at Nassau Coliseum for the Long Island basketball team.

Judges hosting the audition say more kids show up each year to give it their best shot.

The Long Island Nets are the NBA G league affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets.
