A 2-year-old girl drowned in an above-ground pool Friday in Brentwood.
Police responded to 101 Chestnut St. just after 4:30 p.m.
Police say Arlyn Vanegas-Luna was found unresponsive in a relative's above-ground pool.
She was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where she was pronounced dead.
Investigators have not said how Vanegas-Luna got into the pool.
