Police are searching for two men accused of stealing an envelope of cash from a man in Merrick.

Detectives say the suspects squirted the victim with lotion Wednesday when he was leaving Frankie's Pizzeria.

Police say they then told the 52-year-old that his sweatshirt was stained.

The victim took off his sweatshirt and left it in his car, with money in the pocket.

The cash went missing shortly after. It is not clear how much was inside.
