Two men were arrested for the sale of restricted products at a Nassau County business.
Ketankumar Patel, 35, of Flushing, and Hiteshkumar Shah, 50, of Hicksville, were working at XpressMart in Baldwin when the Nassau Police Strategic Response Team arrived to conduct an investigation.
Officers observed a large quantity of flavored vape products, kratom and pepper spray cannisters displayed for sale at the location.
The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. Monday at the store on Foxhurst Road.
The employees will both face charges of sale of restricted products, sale of flavored products prohibited and unlawfully selling noxious materials when they are arraigned next month.
