Police say two East Hampton cops are recovering from carbon monoxide poisoning.

East Hampton Town police went to check on a woman on Cattalow Circle in the northwest Woods section in East Hampton Monday when they were exposed.

Police tell News 12 they found 61-year-old Maria Rose dead inside in what is being investigated as a possible suicide.

The officers were sickened by the fumes and hospitalized.

The officers are expected to be OK.
