Two men are in critical condition after a fast-moving fire ripped through a marina in Freeport today, leaving 16 boats destroyed in its wake. The flames broke out at around 3:45 p.m. at Approved Marine off of Hudson Avenue. Authorities say about 200 firefighters from eight departments battled the flames for nearly two hours. Investigators say that two workers had been removing a boat motor and it's possible that some left over fuel sparked the fire. The two workers suffered severe burns, according to officials, and were taken to Nassau University Medical Center. Officials have not yet released their identities. In addition to the 16 ruined boats, four more sustained less serious damage.CHOPPER 12: Video of boat fires in Freeport
